How do I reserve a room or an apartment?We require a signed lease agreement and a paid security deposit for $400 for each tenant to reserve a unit. We can not hold a unit based on a verbal agreement. Back to TopHow and where do I pay my rent?Rent is due on the dates as specified in your lease agreement. We accept Cash, Checks, MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and Debit. Rent should be mailed to the address specified under the " CONTACT US" link. Checks are made payable to "ECM Realty".
Back to TopHow do I use my PCT OneCard to pay my rent ?Here is an option that doesn't require you to carry large cash withdraws from the ATM and it is a FREE service. DO NOT GET CAUGHT CARRYING LARGE AMOUNTS OF CASH !! 1. Login at www.PCTOneCard.com 2. Select the Withdraws & Payments tab and from the pulldown window, click on Pay Bills. 3. Select Pay A Business and fill the fields in as Follows: a. Recipient Name: ECM Realty b. Recipient Account Number: Your House Number & Apt. Number c. Recipient Mailing Address: 870 West Fourth Street, Suite 1, Williamsport, PA 17701. 4. Select Continue. 6. Paper Bill Pay. Select Continue. 7. Confirm Add Recipient. Select Continue. 8. Schedule A Payment. Enter Payment Amount, Memo, 1-Time, & Today's Date. 9. Select Schedule Payment. It takes approximately 1 week for them to process the check until we
receive it. Back to TopHow do I contact the local utility companies for service?(Electricity) PPL: 1-800-342-5775: Contact them at least 1 week in advance of your lease starting date. You will need some information from your copy of the Lease. Tell them you are moving into apt X (the address of the leased property) and that you will be responsible for the electric service beginning on X (the starting date of the Lease). They will get billing information from you. Please remember you are responsible for the electric service until the ending date of your lease agreement even if you move out early. (TV/Cable Modem) COMCAST: 1-800-266-2278: Contact them at least 1 month in advance of your lease starting date. You will need some information from your copy of the Lease. Tell them you are moving into apt X (the address of the leased property) and that you would like additional cable service (i.e. Cable Modem, Digital, HD, Music Channels, etc) beginning on X (the starting date of the Lease). They will get billing information from you. They will also schedule an appointment with you at the Leased property to install the service(s). You do not want to miss this appointment or wait too long to call. They get extremely busy and backlogged around January and August. Please remember any additional service you request, you will be responsible for. (Gas/Heat) UGI: 1-800-432-8017: Contact them at least 1 week in advance of your lease starting date. You will need some information from your copy of the Lease. Tell them you are moving into apt X (the address of the leased property) and that you will be responsible for the natural gas service beginning on X (the starting date of the Lease). They will get billing information from you. Please remember you are responsible for the gas service until the ending date of your lease agreement even if you move out early. They will also schedule an appointment with you at the Leased property to turn on the gas service. You do not want to miss this appointment or wait too long to call. Back to TopAm I allowed to have pets?Under normal circumstances, pets are NOT allowed unless management makes a specific exception in writing. Although, we do have a 6-unit apartment building that is cat and dog friendly. Back to TopAre there connections for the Internet?Most units and most rooms have a separate phone line/jack and a cable outlet. You can connect to the internet using a phone modem (tenant is responsible for phone service and ISP) or a cable modem ( tenant is responsible for cable modem service from COMCAST, see above). Back to TopAm I allowed to stay or leave my belongings over the Christmas break?Yes. This is your home away from home mid August until mid May. Many students have local jobs and need to stay in the area over the break. Back to TopWhen am I allowed to move in and when do I have to move out?Normally all leases start the Friday before the first day of classes. All leases end the Friday of the last day of classes. See your Lease Agreement for Details. There will be a $30 fee to move your personal property into an apartment early, before the starting date of your lease as this is very time consuming to our staff. Back to TopDo you have Laundry Facilities available?Yes. We provide a several Laundry facilities. They are located as follows: 1. Rear of 1070 Vine Avenue. There are 4 coin operated machines (2 washers and 2 dryers). 2. Basement of 737 West 3rd St. There are 4 coin operated machines (2 washers and 2 dryers). 3. 1032 West Fourth Street (Right Door). There are 8 coin operated machines (4 washers and 4 dryers). 4. Basement of 966 Vine Avenue. There are 4 coin operated machines (2 washers and 2 dryers). 5. Side Porch 606 Thomas Avenue. There are 4 coin operated machines (2 washers and 2 dryers). 6. Rear of 415 Allen Street. There are 2 coin operated machines (1 washer and 1 dryer). 7. Basement of 870 West Fourth Street. There are 4 coin operated machines (2 washers and 2 dryers). 8. Basement of 963 Vine Avenue. There are 2 coin operated machines (1 washer and 1 dryer). 9. Basement of 973 West Fourth Street. There are 4 coin operated machines (2 washers and 2 dryers). All ECM Realty apartments have a key to access these facilities. They are available 24/7 for your use and convenience. Back to TopHow do I get an On-Street Parking Permit?Parking permits for ON-STREET parking can be obtained at our local City Hall located near the corner of West Fourth and Hepburn Streets. They charge a $1.00 fee for the permit and you will need to show them a copy of your lease agreement to prove residency. They are usually available beginning in early August. Back to Top |
